Lol I fear this is common sense, you pay extra for the espresso by asking for an extra shot

Doesn’t it taste different then by size if they are changing the ratios?

I seriously hate when places do the same number of shots in each size. I got a large iced latte once, it was like 26oz, it had 2 shots. wtf. that's basically just milk and ice. I asked why it was basically milk and she said that's how they do it. haven't gone back to that place. but she gave me another shot for free. I've taken to asking before ordering now.

12oz latte with two shots is the perfect ratio. Hate 16oz with 2 shots

Alfred is so ridiculous for this!!! That’s the only place I’ve seen it personally. Then if you add a shot the coffee comes out to $10. Like why would I want a larger coffee just for it to be more milky?

That sucks! At my Chicago barista job I make sure to say small+medium have a double shot, large has a quad bc that’s more important than ounces in my opinion lol

this why I always get the smallest size everywhere unless I know they do an extra shot

Sara :
I always make a point to ask about how many shots are in the different sizes when I go to a new coffee shop (that offers different sizes) because I’ve experienced this before!
