Real question ,say if u stop at a red light on 1st gear do you have to do the same process or can u go shift down to 2nd gear and hold the break and just go when the light turns green?

My friction zone is at the very end of the clutch. If I let go too much I stall. So find the friction zone, throttle a little and let go of the clutch.
