I don't like people trying to put him in neat little boxes. he wasn't the angry Robin but he wasn't the happy Robin as well, he was a traumatized kid who was so so frustrated with the cards he's been delt and when an adult finally believed in him, saw beyond the street kid he was and gave him a purpose he wanted to be good SO BAD he needed to be good and he had his ups and downs he wasn't always good but he kept trying because he was given a gift he was given magic.
