When i woke up for the first time since the lab, it was April 17th, 1972. i felt as though i had woke up from the deepest sleep i ever had. It was 6 years since they last dosed me, and i couldn’t remember a thing from the previous Eight. I paced about, forgetting my name, my age, it took 5 hours to find my wallet where i found the ID of someone who looked like me, had decently accurate data, but it wasn’t me. my name was Gabriel Klusaritz, ID registered to the state of Vermont. i checked the calendar, it had all the dates leading up to the 17th marked off. That was when the phone rang, it rattled. rattled for hours. i sat in the bed for 5 hours staring at it, then back to the wallet, then back to the phone. then back to the wallet. then back to the phone. after i passed out, i was awoken 3 hours after my panic attack when i heard the phone ring. i picked it up. “Pilgrim, Dog, Jewel.”i couldn’t remember another thing since then for the next 5 months.
