Kyoto engine ramen is good and costly but not amazing. It’s more of a tourist trap. You’ll see all the visitors aren’t Japanese so that tells you a lot. There’s better ramen in Kyoto.

In Kyoto now.. I find it very boring here. Shrines and temples and more shrines and temples. It’s all good to see 1 or 2 but there doesn’t seem much else to do get me back to Tokyo!

Kyoto engine was the worst ramen I had on my trip. They also seat you at a separate ramen counter if you’re a foreigner which feels weird lol

Engine ramen is a must!! We went to the Osaka location and it was amazing! Workers are the sweetest and food is fireeee
