I never use my debit card in any of the machines anywhere I always go inside the bank and get cash. I use cash all the time if I buy online I use a gift card.

The “Dropped $20” Distraction. After the customer completes the purchase, one scammer will “notice” a $20 bill on the ground and hand it to the victim, saying something like, “You dropped this.” This distracts the victim. 3. Stealing the Card or Using the PIN. While the victim is distracted, another scammer either snatches the card (from a wallet, purse, or hand) or just uses the known PIN plus a physical card (if available) to access the account.
