What about hiring? That would be awesome. I wish we weren’t discriminated while trying to go into the work force because we are pregnant. That’s my current problem

My HR told me i couldn’t work if i couldn’t lift kids even if my doctor wrote it off that i couldn’t lift anything i sent them the act and law and they completely ignored it i am keeping all my emails and stuff i sent just incase

I’m a bedside nurse. Was told I can’t have any accommodations or restrictions or I can’t work. All I was hoping for was someone to push my patients upstairs. And to lift a patient if I need. I’m already use to no lunches

I’m a CNA and 27 weeks pregnant. My job is allowing me to be “light duty” bc I got a Dr note. HR and management has been amazing ab accommodating me but it’s the Coworkers. So many people roll their eyes or make smart comments whenever they work with me

My job denied my request for a reasonable accommodation with the excuse of operational needs. Which is a lie. I’m an extra body at work right now 🫠

I got a letter from my OB saying I could wear athletic pants and sneakers as needed. Maternity clothes are sooooo uncomfortable (and expensive tbh). Now I can wear leggings/yoga pants and sneakers and it’s the best!! I still try to dress “professional” but some days it just isn’t going to happen!!!

My job does not accommodate that and there’s nothing legally I can do. They also can not accommodate any “light duty” position because the type of work I’m in doesn’t have a light duty position. Sadly some places are like this…. I’m the first pregnant woman this company has ever had at this site. (Site has been there almost 20 plus years)
