and the thing is that so many films have iconic soundtracks without being musicals so just use those!!! there’s no need for the overlap at all

Movie week should focus on films that have mainly scores, or the soundtrack are songs that are background and not like musical numbers from greatest showman, which is a movie musical. Like top gun for example: has music in it, but is very clearly not a musical.

I don’t like when they do Dirty Dancing during musicals week rather than movie week, because I don’t think that is a musical, it’s just a film with a really popular song in it

Yesss IMO a film with music in is a musical regardless of whether it’s a film or on stage and they should all be on musicals week then movie week should be themed around films and use their soundtrack or something

I’d be fine with movies with songs in musicals week but a musical in movie week feels wrong

DO YEAR THEMED MOVIES!!! Seriously- why NOT Teletubbies theme & have it be 28 Years later? Why not have the Punk Rocker Superman song for 2025?

Completely agree! Otherwise what’s the point for the two seperate themes if they just overlap?!

I agree! Movies week should be soundtracks and films like La La Land and the Greatest Showman as they haven't been made into a musical!
