I’m on 28k, my rent and bills are 900. I can treat myself to something I want like once a month but I’m careful otherwise. Also privileged enough to have 10k in savings which I use only for unforeseen emergencies, dental care etc

Why are folks paying council tax in house share?! The landlord is responsible to paying the council tax if it’s a HMO which is what most “house shares” are

I don’t get this I make 27k and pay 1250 a month to live in Wembley and I have plenty of money left, shopping and drinks are not essentials but I can still afford them. If you aren’t trying to save for the future this is totally a fine wage.

I earn 27k living in the south east - there’s definitely no budget for fun, food delivery, transport takes so much and I only commute once a week. I’m cheap af and I had to get a second job, now working 7 days a week 😅
