Some people keep making the laughable claim that the car wasn’t built for hot regions. That’s Mumbo-jumbo. External temperature has nothing to do with the actual heat generated by the engine. Whether it’s driven in a cold or hot climate, combustion remains the same. The real issue, as he clearly explained, is that Mercedes-Benz designed the exhaust far too close to fragile and sensitive components of the car, period!
