I hadn't really fully believed the hype about crayola oil pastels, but then I was in michael's for something else (that they didn't have in stock :( ) and bought them on a whim, and OH MY GOD I was blown away. Extremely impressed. They're really good?? I started with mungyo gallery, and I feel like crayola would be a good starting point for people who are intimidated by the goopiness of oil pastels. These ones are still soft and are def oil pastels, but they're firmer than the higher-quality ones and give you more control. Might be a good way to ease into it.

I love the look and blending ability of oil pastels but I struggle with the feeling of getting it on my hands. Same with chalk pastel. Your work is so cool!
