I had the same experiences. My parents were counseled to do nothing. They did nothing. And that’s when I knew I couldn’t rely on my PARENTS to protect me. I was 7. I’ve been taking care of my safety and myself emotionally since the age of 7. Your content is so therapeutic. Thank you.
