This is the main reason I will never have a kid. They need your attention basically 24/7. I’d like to think I’m not a selfish person, but I definitely need time to myself at least once a week.

ok, here's what we're gonna do: have him grab some blankets and his pillow, throw 3-4 folded towels on the bathroom floor (for padding) and have him lay on the bathroom floor. turn the lights down low, light some candles, play relaxing music and you can both just chill in there for an hour or so.

I would suggest to put on a bathing suit and soak while he plays next to you. Set up his station right next to the tub. And explain mommy needs to soak for a bit. And when you’re done, he can have a bath if he wants. Hang in there.
