The fact that White supposed to be a depiction of satan, and Zangetsu is a depiction of God is crazy. Ichigo's story is an existential battle of him finding who he actually is and if he's quincy or hollow, and it wasnt until zangetsu left him that he started his journey as the one in control and as a unification of white, zangetsu, and Himself. The whole buildup is almost exactly like how spiritual/divine awakening is described in philosphy and ancient mysticism.
