If they’ve pierced the sides of the cervix surely an antibiotic shot or short course should be given as standard as ive heard of women getting infections after, I think many are unaware why this happened.

I asked the doctor placing my IUD if my cervix was easy to find because providers have had difficulties in the past. He said that there's no difficult anatomy, that if a provider can't find it, that's a skill issue. 😎

Just got IUD replaced with a new one…WHENNN is EVERY OB/GYN’s office have these new devices as a standard?!?! They still used a tenaculum on my cervix!! 😣

That thing is horrible.I wish I never experienced getting one of those.And they told me it's just a little pinch, that thing was worse than having what I call medieval tunnel surgery on my hand without the pain medicine. 😳
