As someone who took the TMC a lot (I am not a good test taker AT ALL, and kept failing), use Tutorial Systems!!! It’s cheap, and you can cancel when you are done with it. I tried Kettering, and I continued to fail. Tutorial systems helped me a ton, and it helped me with the sims! Keep going! You got this!

How to pass TMC/CSE 1. Take Kettering CSE twice 2. TMC practice on NBRC website, cse practice B on NBRC website since it was the harder one & review it. 3. Paid $20 for “tutorial sims” and practiced those 40 sims I didn’t do all of them tho 4.Listen to the audio if you can. 5.For VT range I would use (6-8) & also (9-10) Like I would use (6-8) do the math out for it and then also do the (9-10)ml/kg because for me sometimes their wouldn’t be any other option but to chose a (9-10) VT. NBRC is stuck in the old values for that. 6.use a (10-20) RR to set them up initially 7.Take your time. I did (4-5) sims, bathroom repeat. So that you don’t get mental fatigue.

I failed the first time too! After that I bought respiratory bootcamp from respiratory coach and watched all the videos. He has videos and questions that are not on his YouTube. I passed the second time

I studied for three weeks straight. i used lindsey jones for the TMC. I even listened to the audio and went to sleep with it playing in my ear.

I made the same score last month. I use respiratory coach and LJ. I also been out of commission 5 years ago 😩 so I have to relearn respiratory. I was told that I’m not good at troubleshooting and that’s 80% of the test.

Been in your shoes and I promise you Comprehensive Respiratory on Amazon for $100 by Albert Heuer did wonders! Tried Kettering (audio & practice exams) as well as NBRC. This book is broken down into sections EXACTLY how the NBRC is formatted. After taking the practice exams, go to the ones you got wrong and find out why you got it wrong. Then fill in those gaps with this book. This book has an abundance of information that prepared me for the CSE! Good luck!

I used Kettering but I feel like Lidnesy jones helped more because it’s detailed and explained everything more. Took NRBC tmc exams.

Gary Pershing Respiratory Exam Review book!. I personally took both Kettering practice exams, and review ALL questions. Even the correct ones, to make sure I knew what they were asking. Use Gary to understand weak areas!! & Respiratory Coach Boot Camp for quick reviews on “easy” to forget topics!

I prayed my life away! You got through the program. You know the material. When I came to a question I didn’t know I prayed on it. I did deep breathing and I kept telling myself I knew the material, I was smart, I just needed to breathe a get out of my head because it was filled with doubt. It’s not easy. But you know it. When you get frustrated and anxious take a minute for yourself and use that little voice in your head to tell yourself that you know it!

What I did: -read the question and answers once. Read the question again. -Write down key words on your scratch paper. Know your formulas. I used Respiratory HQ and the practice NBRC exam.

I just graduated & passed my TMC & CSE. Kettering is amazing! I went to an accelerated program & it was soooo difficult for me. When I tell you I knew NOTHING! I really understood nothing till I got to my last term. I played the Kettering audio from start to finish & would follow along with my book about 10+ times. I made sure to listen & review patient assessment more than anything! I tried respiratory coach boot camp but it didn’t compare to Kettering since it’s solely based on the exams. I would focus on Kettering as much as possible.
