I don’t like Newcastle. The backdrop of historical buildings against lifeless modern buildings, graffiti etc just looks awful. Don’t like the general vibe either. I love Durham though

you managed to pick the parts that look like Paris, but half the joy of Newcastle is how it looks at night, the backless and the lights, when im out and about at night I can feel the city and its so nice. I come from the countryside so seeing the city at night is lovely, and a 50/50 trade with not being able to see the stars all that well

I love newcastle city centre and down by the quayside is lovely. Sounds crazy but I honestly love the graffiti everywhere too, some of the pieces are amazing to look at. The buildings are breathtaking, ill always remember my nana often taking me on the train when I was little and me thinking it was London im literally from Sunderland just a few miles down the road 🤣
