@wirth.a.trip: Still can’t get over this place 🤯 Salina Turda feels like a science fiction movie! 🪐 (and it’s only about an hour from Cluj-Napoca) Imagine walking through a massive underground salt mine with black walls towering above you, echoes bouncing off every surface and even a lake that’s 1000 times saltier than the ocean! 🧂 🌊 It used to be a working salt mine back in the 1600s. Now it’s an underground amusement park nearly 120m below ground. There’s a Ferris wheel, ping pong tables, putt-putt, pool tables, massage chairs and even rowboats you can take out on the lake. 🛶 🎡 ⛳️ Fun fact: during WWII it was used as a bomb shelter and later a cheese storage spot 🧀😄 Save this one for your travel list!
