@pristyq: Only an hour away from Tokyo, Enoshima is one of my favourite day trips, especially in the summer for those coastal and beach vibes 🌊 🚶‍♀️ Start your day by walking up the Benzaiten Nakamise Street where you'll get to peruse cute shops and food stalls. Once you get past the main shopping area, veer off the path sometimes to capture beautiful coastal views. 🍱 Stop for lunch at Tousha Coffee & Teishoku. The food here is homely and absolutely delicious. But the service felt quite aggressive and cold so do be mindful of that 🤫 🍧 Have a sweet treat at the cafe next door, Trasparente L'acqua. Here, you'll get to beat the summer heat with a bowl of kakigori, and views of the sea to boot. The staff here were also super friendly! 🕯️ Next, head up the Enoshima Sea Candle for panoramic views of the island! 🐉 Then explore the Iwaya Caves which is said to host a dragon deity. These are natural caves formed by erosions and you'll be handed a lit candle that'll illuminate your path as you navigate the area. 🌅 Just outside is the Chigogafuchi Abyss which is, in my opinion, one of the prettiest coastal beaches I've been. Here, if you're lucky like me, you can watch the sunset with Mount Fuji against the horizon 🥹 It is absolutely stunning. #japantravel #enoshima #tokyodaytrip #kamakura #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp
