How much you paying for Roy Keane/Patric Viera today? If Declan Rice is worth £100m

When he says ignore moments players surely that would throw carrick and ji-sung into the same level as Keane

Once watched Man Utd play Newcastle at St.James's Park. Keane was head and shoulders the best player on the whole pitch. It was like a man versus boys. A superb footballer and leader. The end.😏

Thing is, kids today will never understand how integral Keano was to United success. Without him, they drop off after Cantona went. His all round game was quality. Not one to ping it 40 yards, but every pass, TIDY. He wasn't just a brute force. He was a composed baller too.

What a comment. I have never heard this reasoning but its spot on. Keane consistently hard working, in and out of possession

if rice was 100 million then if Keane & Gerrard were playing today in there prime they would cost you upwards of 160 million possibly more.

Stevie123 :
Fair play to Steve for that.. Keane is first name on my all time team sheet! Why? For all the reasons Stevie said, plus one thing.. Roy, in my opinion, was a great facilitator, made everyone around him look and play better than without him. That’s what I really look for in Roy’s position, maybe others have better highlight reels, but not many as effective, especially when it mattered.
