@middleeasteye: Unicef spokesperson James Elder has said that Israel has denied four missions to allow the transfer of incubators from an evacuated hospital in northern Gaza, as newborn babies further south are now sharing oxygen masks. According to the UN, one in five babies born in Gaza is premature as Israel continues to restrict much-needed humanitarian aid and medical supplies. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the UN humanitarian office reported that Israel has either denied or impeded 45 per cent of its 8,000 requests for humanitarian missions within Gaza since 7 October 2023.
