@adriennearia: ambition is a gift but to stand out in your 20s, you need the right skills to turn your dreams into reality. here are 5 that changed my life 👇🏻 1. A High Income Skill: Personal branding, content creation, and digital marketing — slightly biased since I’m a marketing girlie 🎀 but these skills are creating opportunities for many. I’ve been self-learning personal branding for a year & it’s helped me land dream internships 🫶🏻 🌟Start small: Learn free bite-sized content from credible coaches on IG, TikTok or long-form content on Youtube + Consider investing in an online course 2. Financial Literacy: Being financially successful involves learning how to make money & more importantly, how to keep it. Learning how to budget, save and invest builds stability and confidence with yourself. 🌟 Start with beginner-friendly podcasts like Friends that Invest or Your Rich BFF 3. Time Management: Ambitious girls juggle a lot between school, internships and side-hustles. Time-blocking is crucial to ensure you’re succeeding at all of these with time aside for yourself. 🌟 Define your top priorities for this season → Estimate how long they’ll take → Schedule focused blocks into your calendar 4. Emotional Regulation: You can’t achieve your goals if your emotions control you. Small emotional wins and stability helps you make sustainable progress without breakdowns. Here’s how therapy taught me how to self-soothe: 🌟 Pause when overwhelmed → Name the feeling → Breathe → Do one thing that calms you (journaling, walking, breathwork) 5. Positive Self-Talk: Please, please no more self-deprecating jokes - your brain believes what you repeat even if you don’t believe it. You can’t become your highest self if you’re your harshest critic. 🌟 When a thought like ‘I’m not good enough’ appears: Recognise it → Reframe it → Replace it 💌 Save this for later and let me know which skill you’re intending on learning! :) #selfdevelopment #your20s #selflove #LifeAdvice #MentalHealth
