I much prefer the 🇨🇦 standard of the officer identifying themselves and the purpose of the stop. It sets a more respectful precedent and probably leads to calmer interactions.

Just a theory, but these traffic stops are becoming so ridiculous and potentially dangerous I would imagine cops are reluctant to even do them.
