The sculpture’s genius is that it captures Lucifer not as pure evil, but wounded and thinking: 🍎 the apple — representing the fruit of knowledge, pride, and temptation. ⛓ the chain — draped loosely around the wrist, showing that freedom was won, but consequences remain. 👑 the broken crown — the literal fall from divine royalty. 🪽 the wings — folded inward; he’s not stripped of power, only burdened by it. 👁️ gaze turned inward — power contained, not gone.
