Dear Mcvities. Long time fan, first time caller here. Although the circumstances of my contact today comes with sad tidings I have today purchased a 7x multipack of original penguins. A snack that I have enjoyed not only for the chocolatey goodness but also the penguin related humour for the last 38 years! The order was made via a well known delivery service from my local Morrisons. However upon grabbing the packet I was shocked to instantly recognised the packet had a sizeable gap at one end and I feared the worst! One of my precious penguins appeared to be missing I opened the packet with trepidation and alas, my greatest fears were met - my penguins were missing their seventh friend!!! To say I am disapointed doesn’t do it justice! Bit only an I missing out on chocolatey goodness but I’m one penguin based joke down! I am a very big fan of all mcvities prodcuts from the ultimate biscuit - the chocolate hobnob, the penguin even to the mini cheddar! And in 38 years I have never found fault with a single one of your products until this absolute travesty today It is with heavy heart that I report this problem to you today, but hopefully the machine that mis packaged these biscuits can be repaired so no one else’s shame to suffer the horrors I have today I have videos the opening of the packet. I can forward the video to prove I’m not trying to scam a free penguin out of you! Please can you provide me with some kind of reassurance that my missing penguin will not only be found safe elsewhere but also with some kind of kind words for my loss I shall await your response.
