I used to spend my entire shift folding towels a certain way, entire section. it would take one customer 2 minutes to destroy the whole thing. sigh, start over.

I worked retail. When I go into stores now, I pick up after myself and, if I notice something out of place and can put it back, I do.

I’ve been a cashier for the last 2 decades. (I started cashiering at 8years old at a flea market) I’ve literally had these people and I had to tell them “ma’am/sir I am a cashier that is literally not my job that it apparels job”

As someone that works in Apparel I can spend so much time folding and making a table look amazing and one customer comes up and in 2 seconds it looks like absolute trash.

I did recovery at sears. all sections. kids you could do a loop and by the time you got back to the start it would be a mess again. shoes wasn't much better.
