It’s going to be hard but a version of yourself you will grow to be so proud of is about to evolve! Being pushed out of your box and find what new hobbies bring you joy, what friendships you have more time to nourish, a whole new bond with your kids. It’s going to be great. I’m really sorry your marriage didn’t work, that’s never the plan, but as a woman who went through divorce with small children, without a career, that now owns a successful business. I own a salon and I have almost considered keeping a TALLY at my station of the women who come to me feeling shattered by divorce especially with children and I can confidently confirm to them that the best is yet to come, even if it feels impossible to imagine now, without fail a year later I remind them of the conversations we had when it started, the tears they shed, the pain they felt, and it’s a total transformation. You’re going to become a better version of yourself than you can even imagine. Surrounded by people who compliment that version of you. It’s going to be beautiful and so fulfilling!
