Girl all debt is not bad… with 500k you can invest it in multiple properties rent them out and have a stable monthly cash flow.

Debt is not evil if used correctly, unfortunately we grow up thinking Debt is bad specially in Dominican/latino families in general but that only limits us from understanding how money works. In 7 years 500k might be worth 350k-400k because of inflation. Using other people’s money (bank) is way more smart in my opinion since you can diversify your money into stocks, high yield accounts, real estate bonds etc that’s how you use Debt to leverage your wealth. Either way i respect your decision to do this just giving you another point of view, I’m just a 25 yr Dominican who does real estate in TX.

I would never put 500K down on a home. It’s okay to have a mortgage. Like, someone else said, there is such a thing as good debt and I own a home so I’m not just talking.

I'm.saving up £25000 as a single mum of 3. started last month. we are also renovating 2 houses around us (no visas for either country so have to move every 3 months which is hell). but we are 1 month in and £1k saved. not every month will.go as well I'm.sure
