everyone commenting on all the things that didnt make sense in this reboot are forgetting the entire show didnt make sense. I mean why was Justin told to choose a profession as part of his wizard training but Alex and max werent? why does the wizard competition always stack the odds against the youngest kid because the youngest always has the least amount of experience. why are they counting points when the real competition is a game show? what are the levels and why when Alex was knocked down to level 1 did she need to take a class that Justin taught in the lair to get caught up when the competition is a game show? why in one episode Jerry is able to make the wizard lair miniaturized and portable but in the episode where they might lose their sub shop suddenly the lair is tied to the sub shop and they cant get another one or move it? why were they able to transfer the lair over to the hick wizards that lost their lair when same rules apply? why can Alex just zap herself places but then when its inconvenient for the plot she all of a sudden cant anymore? in one episode wand power is similar to a battery and in another episode its just this invisible force and in another episode its a physician energy that mr. crumbs can just take away whenever he wants? nothing about the original made sense. its not supposed to.
