@ceoofgolf: “90% of golfers get this wrong ⬇️ Hands in, club out. Shoutout to David Leadbetter for pioneering this Grab two alignment sticks and place one on your foot target line. And another behind your golf ball on a slight angle like this. When you take the club away. We want to have our hands follow the stick below. And the clubhead to follow the stick above. Think hands in, club out. We aren’t moving much other than our core here. Then when the club gets to about our right thigh, pause for a brief moment. Feel your core being activated. Then turn to the top and fire. In the golf swing, everything works in opposites — every move creates an equal and opposite reaction. So if you whip the club too far inside on the backswing, your body will naturally want to come over the top on the downswing to compensate and balance itself out. But if we take the club a little more outside going back, our body will actually want to shallow out and swing more from the inside coming down. Its that easy Keep it simple! #golfing #golf #golfdrill #golfswing #golftips
Eeeeeexcept with short game. Chipping and bunker shots will sometimes require early hinge. Still not good to bring the clubhead inside that much, but there are scenarios where the "bad" swing path becomes "useful"

Do you think taking the club inside is what’s causing my hooks?
