I live in Gainesville at one time that was a beautiful country club of Gainesville members and it’s on a great piece of property prime property and it’s sad they let this place go

Everyone switched clubs and joined Haile. I think we let nature continue to reclaim because we are losing so much in the city of trees

You aint just whistlin' Dixie about clay tennis courts! The City I worked for had a clay facility & its maintenance cost was half that of our *27-hole* golf club.

I wonder how many acres that property is. I'm assuming the Gainesville real estate's pretty high, 2 million for a huge piece of property is probably a steal

I never knew it closed! I played there -unexpectedly- probably 15 years ago and I think greens fees were around $70. the course was nice then... it was a 1 and done for me.
