Wait until conference numbers start to come in. Whether you are an American company used to inviting global customers, or experts gathering for a conference (and a few rounds of golf in Nevada/Florida) in the winter, what you are going to discover is that companies are unable to accept invites to the US. Most countries have a certain level of equal rights laws. No big corporation - or small - is going to invite equal opportunity law suits by holding any event in a country where human rights are not observed and certain employees are unwelcome. How can a company book a conference in a place where race and political ideology can be persecuted? How can they book a conference where they know female employees may be denied access to full healthcare? And how can I book an event in a place where Facebook comments might have an employee turned away at customs and immigration. It just isn’t feasible

Canada here. Cancelled 2 planned trips to the U.S this year. Will not be back as long as Trump and anyone associated with him are in office. He threatened our sovereignty, why would I support his economy? Not to mention how immigrants are being mistreated, and his attack of the left. No thanks. The world is a big place, better places to go
