I'm a spiritual gate and me and my dad encountered one walking back home I'm not in America I'm in SA and when we realised it wasn't a real bird that's trapped my dad immediately warded it off because he, my dad, is almost like the boss of all ghost, wandering spirits creatures and hellhound and we have a pet dog that's a hellhound but his a friendly hellhound

Mimics are demons. They use our voices. There was one of more that used to call my name and my kids names and I know there was a demon or more than one in there because they were dealt with.

I grew up in the Smoky Mountains, East TN/NC boarder. My one mammaw never let us play near the woods by ourselves and always warned of weird things out in the forest. One day though, I went to my brother's great grandmother's house to play with cousins. I never liked this house and always got weird vibes from it, it was surrounded by woods. We were always told not to wander off as usual, but something made us that day. And that's the weirdest part about the story- I have excellent memory and can usually recall events in great detail, esp if it was traumatic or very memorable. Not this one. All I remember was going with one cousin up into the woods towards a field of flowers, just a big random field that opened up in the middle of this dense forest. We were playing running around, all good. Cousin said he heard someone calling him, we better get back bc we would be in trouble. That's pretty much the last actual detail I can remember other than us eventually being so turned around that we just sat up against a tree. I refused to move and said I would wait for someone to find me, I don't care how much trouble I get. Next thing I know my step-dad and uncle were coming up to us with flashlights saying they had been looking and yelling all night. We weren't far from the house at all, idk why we wouldn't have heard them and vice versa. So idk if something weird did happen or not, but that story always comes to mind when I hear about mimics. I couldn't literally draw the house, the driveway, the flowers in the field from memory. Tell many many stories in that house like I was walking you through it personally. But I cannot tell you what happened between the time we were in the middle of the field to my uncle walking up to me at the tree- just an absolute blank. Same thing with the cousin
