when i was 8, our classmate passed away and graduation had a ceremony for her. when i was 16 My bsf passed away and instead of graduating she also got a ceremony at her school. this year, one of our classmates passed away and again, we had a ceremony. i can't believe all of this people will never grow up, looking back at their socials feels like they're frozen in time. it might not have much to do with the video, but this song makes me think about how my best friend would always talk about her future and how she wanted to break her family cycle, she never got to even enter university, she wanted to see the snow, she wanted to travel, she wanted so bad to be happy and free, and now all i'm left with is the guilt of being the one whos still alive.
