I feel like people forget she’s “crazy in love” with light and “annoying” because of the trauma from watching her parents be massacred in front of her 😭 like the reason she became so obsessed with Kira is because of how obsessed she was with getting her parents justice, which Kira did. Like in the flash back she had dark hair, and wore quite modest clothing, which is both the polar opposite of her that we see, which is why I think the whole if her character is a facade from the trauma of seeing her parents be murdered
