Su TikTok ci sono profili che insegnano ad altre ragazze come diventare anoressiche. Ho ricostruito le nuove reti pro ana e pro mia: profili che usano parole in codice, gruppi privati e figure che si fanno chiamare “Ana coach”, ragazze che si presentano come guide e insegnano a ragazze giovanissime come smettere di mangiare, come nascondere il cibo e come non farsi scoprire. Mi sono infiltrata in queste comunità: nel giro di pochi giorni sono stata contattata da decine di ragazze e sono entrata nelle loro conversazioni private. Lì ho incontrato le Ana coach, figure che costruiscono un rapporto di fiducia con le ragazze e che trasformano il controllo del corpo in un percorso da seguire.
