@alexsfoodieadventures: Dessous, Melbourne CBD Dessous is an intimate & moody wine bar tucked beneath Hazel in Melbourne CBD which has been open since 2019. Helmed by Chef Dan Sawansak, it serves a unique fusion of French techniques with Thai and Chinese influences, offering everything from one-bite snacks to share plates. We went for their Wednesday steak night which was $29 and featured a 200g Flinders Island dry-aged rump steak, smashed with a marinade which was then cooked over fire until perfectly pink. It’s served with Jeow Bong & coriander relishes along with a Thai herb salad & sticky rice. The flavour was fantastic, it was perfectly cooked medium rare & the sides were great & I loved this steak night was doing something a little different!
