Ford took a transmission meant for sedans and sports cars and put it in trucks and giant SUVs. Those 10 speeds never do great with alot of weight behind them.

It’s the 10 speed if you want an f150 but can’t get a new one get a 15-17 with the 6 speed and 5.0 I don’t own one but with the info that’s out there that’s one of the most reliable luxury trucks you can get for the money

Way too much shifting in 10 speed, all that shifting puts lots of friction material in the oil causing valves stick then clutch slips and overheats..
