My scar was painful, so I waited months before I was brave enough to start massaging my scar. I started by using my finger and rubbing my scar in small circular motions. Then I used a guasha to put pressure on the scar tissue and pull down and then I graduated to a small handheld scar massager. When it comes to which lotions or creams to use, studies have shown little to no additional benefit from using products that contain either vitamin E or cocoa butter. Those likely just make it easier to do the massage. #scar #skintok #skincancer
