Most people that fly that route are transit passengers not point to point travel.

Great if you are already in Central London but for those of us who aren't, this isn't an option. I would need a 2 hour train to London costing over £100 then the Eurostar whereas I can fly there in around an hour from Manchester for less than the train to London
