This is Shafiza — and this dive really surprised me. 🌊🤿 For the past few weeks, she had been struggling with her duck dive. The main issues were: ⚠️ Leg position during the duck dive ⚠️ Drifting forward instead of descending straight down ⚠️ Finning direction underwater ⚠️ Difficulty getting the whole sequence right So we went back to basics. I personally coached her step by step in the 2.5-meter pool, working on body position, leg lift, timing, arm pull, and controlled finning. And now… She managed to reach the 5-meter deep pool floor comfortably, stay there for a moment, and then make her ascent. I honestly did not expect her to hold at the bottom like that. 👏 I was not fully prepared for the dive myself and had to work harder on my own breath-hold just to follow her all the way to the bottom and back up. 😅 But seeing her progress made it worth it. From struggling to descend… to comfortably reaching 5 meters. That is what consistency, patience, and proper coaching can do. Respect, Shafiza.
