100 ma at 12v does nothing. You need enough voltage to push the current. So throw a voltage in there too!

Mazda senior tech here: I can currently only disable and verify that the HV systems are properly disabled at the proper check points, I’ve still got two more in person classes before I can do my PHEV diag and repair. This shits no joke and you gotta respect and understand it before you work on it.

BMW EV certified tech here. All BEVs and PHEVs have safety disconnect function to make sure that doesn’t happen though. Of course accidents can still happen but on our cars it tells you if HV was disconnected properly or failed.
