As someone who works for DMs and has had 1461s I ALWAYS recommend you size down in them! Especially if you’re in between sizes!

Hi I’ve got the Sinclairs and got them in my usual size 6 which i had for 4 years and I’ve had to recently buy a new set in a size 7 my toes were again the top and found they don’t stretch over time because they destroyed my feet xx

i got the exact same pair and tbf yeah, if there is a smaller size for you, go for it. I wear a 36 so it's either insoles or kids shoes for me😭

Insoles! Or if you try the next size down, you can always take out the doc marten insole that’s in there and it gives you a slightly different fit

I got platform low docs, I feel the size is perfect but when I walk they slip from my heels. is it normal with platforms?? I think the size down would be too small for me 😫

Hey i got 8053 and I sized down too! But my feet hurt so much. My ankles got scraped and my toes were cramped. So I exchanged for my original size (size 6). Size 6 is so much more comfortable. My toes aren’t cramped but my ankles did get scrapped but I think that’s just cause the leather is hard and I need some heel protector. So if your toes feel cramped, you should def get your size

You have to buy a size smaller. I did not realised it with my boots but the shoes made it pretty clear. If it feels like you are not wearing shoes and that your toes can spread, then they are too big. They should feel fit around your foot and not like sleepers. I hope that helps😁😁😁

I would definitely size down if they’re slipping at the back! They should be slightly snug across the top (and perfect length wise) as they stretch to about 1/2 a size once they’re broken in. If they’re too loose now, then they’ll slip even more after they’re broken in and you’ll get horrendous blisters. I’d advise using the wonder balsam to break them in and apply with a hairdryer!

rub coconutoil to the spots that bother u n hit it with hairdryer put them on untill they're cooled down n put Compeed blister prevention stick or patches on before u put them on

Length wise, if your toes are far from reaching the front then size down. If by sizing down your toes are cramped and hitting the front try a bigger size with insoles. The insoles make them half a size smaller. They stretch in width, but in length they’ll stretch almost nothing.
