@world..geo: These are my 8th & 9th counties in the state of South Dakota as I continue to make my way east on I-90! You start to really get into the rolling hill landscape, with these counties with Aurora being basically home to nothing but farmlands and a small town. Davison is a little bit more interesting as it’s home to the world’s only corn palace in Mitchell which is one of the best towns in the state. 📐 Aurora county covers around 708 square miles of land area which is the 22nd smallest county in the state and is in the top 42% of the country. (1,346th) 📐 Davison county covers only around 436 square miles of land area which is the 4th smallest county in the state and is in the top 73% of the country.
