I wanna make a short story inspired around the word limerence. Which means an involuntary state of intense romantic infatuation and obsessive longing. But it being dark romance with no good ending.

two short stories i wrote recently was the "falling-out-of-love" story between a bird and a birdcage, and a sentient mote of dust that gets trapped in a human body and has to come to terms with the fact that they can actually make an impact on people and no longer go through its existence going completely unnoticed, and it is terrified of that.

For me, I love both reading and writing short stories where you have a situation and the story is it being revealed to the reader. So you create that invisible tequila man and don’t tell the reader that’s what’s going on and they figure it out as the story goes on

I love writing short stories! I just wrote one that’s being published in my school’s literary magazine! It’s about an elderly couple in Hawaii that loved to make music, he would play while she would sing. The wife sadly passed in a hurricane, and the music died that night. But at her funeral on a secluded pocket beach, he tries to play again and she comes back as a spirit to enjoy another moment of music with her harmony….i keep making everyone cry but i don’t really get why👀
