removing wall paper isn't nearly as hard as people convince themselves it is. buy a cheap wall paper scoring tool, wipe it with fabric softener and it literally falls away with minimal effort. you MIGHT have to get a scrapper to some left over glue. I'll never understand why people landlord special stuff instead of taking a few extra hours to do it the right way

As someone who has stripped multiple layers of wall paper from under multiple layers of paint from previous owners of a house, someone is gonna be cursing under their breath about you some day. It's horrendous to undo this mess.

Actually nothing wrong with painting over wallpaper specially the old wallpaper I did that in my kitchen 8 years ago and I changed the wall color 3 times- the walls are fine
