as an arab, honestly... i dont enjoy them. but that being said, aren't they filled with a very thin line of ground beef? to make it easy to cook and so the bread doesn't become soggy from the meat juices...

I don’t eat ground meat so I replaced that with a yam. It didn’t cook all the way through so I had to cook it longer but then the bread was all burnt. 0/10 would not recommend.

I feel like no one is using the brains in the sense that once it has a nice crust you can just put it in the oven to evenly cook it 😭 it's done in so many recipes please use a bit of free thinking
