@jotsforsanity: As humans we are contradictory, and a lot of it comes down to how our minds work. Sometimes what we do doesn't match what we believe — our emotions get in the way and change how we think. Other times, it’s because our beliefs change over time, or we’re shaped by things that happened when we were younger, or lessons we've learned, obstacles we've overcome.
