💼 FLORIDA JET CRASH: WHO WAS ADAM ROBINSON? THE TECH FOUNDER BEHIND MULTIPLE FAST-GROWING COMPANIES Adam Robinson was more than one of the victims of the November 1 Florida Learjet 60 crash. He was a well-known Austin tech entrepreneur who built several marketing technology companies and became known for growing businesses without relying heavily on venture capital. Robinson was the co-founder and CEO of Retention.com, an identity-data company that helps businesses identify and re-engage website visitors. He also launched RB2B, a B2B visitor-identification platform used by more than 100,000 websites. He later launched MoltSets, a business-contact database product aimed at giving companies access to large amounts of B2B contact data at a low price. Robinson had also previously built Robly Email Marketing, which he later sold in an eight-figure deal before focusing on Retention.com and his newer ventures. Just before his death, Robinson said RB2B had reached $10 million in annual recurring revenue, while MoltSets was approaching $1 million ARR. He was widely known in the startup community for promoting bootstrapped, lean companies, arguing that founders could build major businesses without huge teams or massive outside investment. Robinson was traveling with his wife Helen Sharp, their children Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2, along with their nanny and two family friends, when the Learjet crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida. All nine people aboard were killed. 💔 Adam Robinson leaves behind not only a business legacy, but a tech community that described him as a mentor, leader and builder who lived life with enormous energy. 🙏 Rest in peace to Adam, Helen, Emma, Charlie, and all nine victims. #AdamRobinson #Florida #PrivateJet #Crash #News
