Children’s Park This smaller, fenced-in park is located directly across the street from the New Children’s Museum in the Marina district. 2. The Self-Realization Fellowship Meditation Gardens in Encinitas is a tranquil, cliffside sanctuary that features vibrant plants, koi ponds, and ocean views. Founded in 1937 by Paramahansa Yogananda, the gardens are open to the public for quiet contemplation and relaxation. 3. La Jolla Coast walk: Scenic trail that runs from the area near La Jolla Shores to La Jolla Cove and beyond. It is known for stunning ocean views, sea caves, tide pools, and a variety of marine life. The best time to experience the walk is during low tide. 4. Pantoja Park: This historic and serene urban park in downtown San Diego's Marina District. As the oldest park in the city, it provides a quiet green space for recreation and relaxation amidst the city's bustle. 5. Japanese Friendship Garden The Japanese Friendship Garden is a peaceful, 12-acre garden located in Balboa Park, San Diego, California. Known by its Japanese name, San-Kei-En ("three-scene garden"), it combines traditional Japanese garden design with elements of the local Southern California landscape. 6. Embarcadero Marina Park South Embarcadero Marina Park South is a waterfront park located in downtown San Diego, behind the convention center. It offers stunning views of the San Diego Bay, Coronado Bridge, and the city skyline. The park is a popular spot for outdoor activities, events, and concerts at the Rady Shell. The Japanese friendship garden is near the airport so it’s very loud. Also not worth the $. It’s cute but 🤷‍♀️

Except that if you drive to these places you’re gonna be driving in the freeway with people who drive horrible + about to crash + traffic then another 20 min to find parking + 5 dlls/hr for parking 😩 but yeah the view is worth it
